Another guest suite sits on the west wing of the third level that will bring you to another world. Guest Suite 3 feels miles away from the rest of the Pillsbury Castle, thanks to the design of April Goodman, Allied ASID, of April Star Interiors. She worked alongside Holly Home Renovations who carefully remodeled this suite that began as one room and was split into a cozy bedroom and spectacular en suite bathroom. The homeowners will use this area to welcome guests near and far.
Strolling in the room, you’ll enter a vibrant space that immerses visitors in a world of global influences, where rich colors and travel-inspired decor create a truly captivating atmosphere. The walls, adorned with moody jewel tones, evoke the bustling markets of Marrakech and the charming streets of Europe. The designer infused the room with eclectic energy, blending exotic patterns and textiles from around the world, including stunning Hunter Douglas drapery from Total Window Design.
The custom twin beds, with their Gothic peak headboards, draw your eyes upward to the intricate ceiling detail and the grand Arhaus chandelier. Cozy, layered bedding and a hand-painted mural by Laura Margo Murals & Custom Art provide a perfect backdrop for guests to relax and dream of far-off destinations. A charming windowed alcove invites you to pause with a good book or gaze out at the neighborhood below. Throughout the room, you'll find a collection of travel souvenirs and mementos, each telling stories of past journeys and sparking curiosity about new adventures.
Every corner of this suite exudes exploration, with each detail whispering tales of the world. It’s a celebration of cultures, a symphony of colors, and a haven for those with a wanderlust-filled soul. Welcome to a guest bedroom that transcends borders and beckons you to embark on a visual journey around the globe. The brand-new en suite features a Gothic arch entrance into the shower highlighting the Quartzite slab wall, complemented with a luxurious rain head fixture. The bathroom also includes a vanity crafted to emulate fine furniture, paying homage to the home’s historical allure.
